Holistic Health, Fitness & Life Support Group ? Selena J

I spent all last night thinking about how to go about this unofficial holistic health/fitness/life support group and I think I?ve got it?well, I?ve got the first few steps anyway! ?I?d like to make this fun, social, and oh so beneficial for everyone involved!

The vision I have for the first gathering is very informal, at a restaurant or some other social environment where we can all have a drink or a bite to eat if we like and just hang out while we share our goals, challenges, etc. ?The purpose is to have a group of people who will become friends and support one another with encouragement, inspiration, information, and accountability. ?We will certainly venture into other life subjects because we will be approaching health from a holistic perspective. ?Therefore, mind, spirit, emotions and body will all be topics of discussion as we help one another discover, and re-discover how to be better, do better and have better in life! ?Also,?I?ve talked to a couple of friends of mine who have transformed their bodies and lives they are excited to come to our gatherings to share their previous obstacles and how they overcame them. ?So here?s what WE need to do?

First, make sure that you subscribe to get e-mail notifications so that you can be in the loop with the group (you can subscribe on the right side of any page on this site, except for the main page). ?We will all be able to communicate with each other on each article posted, just post a comment or reply to anyone?s comment.

Next, tell a friend! ?Soooo many people want to be healthier in every aspect of life and just need support, so send them the link to this article so they can join too!

Finally, you have an assignment before our first get together. ?Write down all of your health and fitness goals and the obstacles that you?ve faced trying to accomplish them. ?In the first gathering, we?ll talk about what we want, why we want it, what?s kept us from achieving it in the past, and what we?re going to do differently in the future to overcome obstacles and be successful in this! ?So just have a rough outline of your plan and hopefully by the time we all leave, we will have added to the plan.

One more thing, I?m going to need to know what days and times will work best for you NEXT week. ? I?m thinking a week night around 7p would work for those with ?normal? business hours, but I don?t know. ?Would a weekend work better? ?Just comment what works best for you and I?ll work it out from there. ?Also, if you know of any restaurant or other social venue that you think would be great for us, post that too!
