Custom Automotive Designers Partner to Aid Wounded Soldiers ...

GilliN Custom Design, a NY-based custom interior design shop with expertise in the automotive, home and commercial arenas, today announced that they have partnered with Back Bay Customs, a full service custom automotive outfit based in Maine, to design and build a 1954 Pontiac Chieftain that will be raffled to benefit United States soldiers injured during active service.

Back Bay Customs will donate the custom exterior body work on the vehicle and GilliN Custom Design will contribute the interior upholstery and finishes. This project is spearheaded by Full House Motorsports, LLC, a car event production and promotion company.

The raffle was announced to the automotive community as part of the North East Rod & Custom Car Show held in March at the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center, Oaks, PA. Raffle tickets are available for purchase now through March 25, 2012. The completed car will debut at the 2011 SEMA Show, Nov. 1-4 in Las Vegas and one lucky winner will be drawn at the 2012 North East Rod & Custom Show in March 2012.

We are pleased to do our part in helping injured servicemen and women as they transition back to civilian life, said John White, co-owner, Back Bay Customs. By collaborating with GilliN Custom Design we can make a car-lovers dream come true while doing the right thing.
